Montreal-based producer Draeden brings his signature cinematic bass sound to Klayton's (Celldweller/Scandroid) imprint FiXT with his new single "Monolith." The song draws listeners in with a series of inscrutable chopped up vocals, backed by an array of sweeping mystical instruments, evoking feelings of both wonder and peril in a desert setting. The first drop features gut-punching bass design layered with cinematic choirs and brass, while the second goes for a more sub-heavy, distorted sound, interwoven with powerful Middle Eastern melodies. "Monolith" is an undoubtable statement-maker from the "Hit The Floor" producer.
